Terms of Use

Always link back to http://station.chanlu.org/

  • You must always credit me when you use resources from the site. Please do not use resources without crediting me properly. They are not here for you to just use and put on your site. I created them, please give credits.
  • Any resources you download are not to be duplicated, changed, altered, or redistributed.
  • None of the content on this site should be used commercially or for profit.
  • Do not post items on your site and claim you made them yourself; I did
  • Always save files onto your own computer and upload them to your own server. Direct linking is just wasting the bandwidth that my host is providing and paying for.

  • Downloadable Resources such as textures, icon coloring, or brushes are not to be redistibuted or used commercially. You must provide a credit link back to Station upon the download and use of any of the resources mentioned. Be sure to read the "Read Me" file that is included in the .zip file type.

Icons may be used for your own personal projects such as MSN, or Livejournal. You do not have to credit Station in the use of these icons, but it would be nice. :) Do not redistribute or claim as your own. Textless icons are not bases!

Layouts, HTML, & CSS ARE NOT TO BE ALTERED, COPIED, OR REFERENCED WITHOUT PERMISSION. You may not download a layout with the intention of using the coding to make a similarly styled layout with different colors. Please ask if you're interested in doing anything of that sort. Do not crop header images to make icons, signatures etc.

    What is Copyright? ©
Copyright is a protection that covers published and unpublished literary, scientific and artistic works, whatever the form of expression, provided such works are fixed in a tangible or material form. This means that if you can see it, hear it and/or touch it - it may be protected. If it is an essay, if it is a play, if it is a song, if it is a funky original dance move, if it is a photograph, HTML coding or a computer graphic that can be set on paper, recorded on tape or saved to a hard drive, it may be protected. Copyright laws grant the creator the exclusive right to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute, perform and display the work publicly. Exclusive means only the creator of such work, not anybody who has access to it and decides to grab it.
