"Because that's my nindo, my ninja way."
This layout features from the anime and manga series Naruto. This layout was created in Adobe Photoshop and is coded with div layers. This layout is compatible in Internet Explorer and in Mozilla Firefox. It is also compatible in all resolutions 800x600 and up. For best viewing, 1024x768 is recommended.
About the Layout:
This layout actually started with a completely different PNG. In the beginning steps of the design, I had a PNG of Naruto in a tree swing. I found it wasn't using enought room and it forced the layout to be small. I then threw in the image you see now so I could expand the canvas and make a larger header. I'm very pleased with the ending results. The colors remind me of something you would find at 99 Mocking Birds. I guess that's because I used one of their PSDs for the coloring. :) I love the textures that went onto the image. The grain really makes a nice finishing look. The sakura branches, which I tend to use a lot sort of section off and end the layout at the right. I think it adds a nice color and border to the design. I chose not to use an English font to go along with the cat statue in the upper left. The text says Naruto in bold and the smaller text is just a famous quote about his "nindo (ninja way)"; hence, the title.
This layout is also my round 3 entry for The Grand Tourny. Please wish my entry luck! Why Naruto would win against all other characters: Fightning Paragraph.
