Frequesntly Asked Questions

These are questions that have previously been frequently asked. Some questions are basics that will be already answered before someone asked. If you have a question, make sure it's not already on this list!

Can I apply to be your affiliate?
This really depends. I really want to affiliate with high-quality sites. Plus, I don't want too many affiliates. If you see a reasonable amount on my list, be cautious in applying.

If I am denied affiliation, can we exchange links?
Yes, of course. Link exchange is always open so feel free to apply to exchange links with me. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you take requests for designs?
Depending on how much time I have, I do take requests...sometimes. Don't get your hopes up, though, because I will most likely only take requests from friends. Feel free to make a suggestion, though.

Do I need to credit you if I use your resources?
Yes, of course. Feel free to use anything, just as long as you follow the terms of use and you give proper credits. No one wants you to steal and redistribute.

Can I use your coding?
No. Do not view source my site or download layouts for the coding. I had to learn from tutorials and teach myself, so you can too. There are many great tutorials out there that can teach you how to code and use scripts.

Can you teach me how to use HTML, CSS, or PHP?
First of all, PHP is easy and I really do not need to teach you. I don't really have the time to teach you how to code. There are many great tutorials that can help you, but do not come to me for help; I simply don't have the time.

Can I take inspiration from your site?
Sure. It would make me feel happy if I inspired you. Some people feel the need to credit when they feel inspired, but if I inspire you, you don't need to credit me. Just make sure you don't copy my layouts and designs!

I've spotted a problem with the site!
Please head on over to the contact page and fill out the form appropiately. If it is a problem with coding, please contact me immediately, so I can take a look and get it fixed. If it is a problem with spelling or grammar, please let me know, but it is no big deal. If you have a problem with my site itself, you really should have closed your browser by now and should not be visiting the site now anyway, right?

My question is not answered here. Where can I contact you?
If your question isn't on this list feel free to send me a form through the contact page. If the form is down, you may use the tagboard. If all else fails, feel free to e-mail me at station[at]chanlu.org
