I'm rather sad. Next week, band camp starts. I dislike band camp a lot, haha. It's basically the same hours as school, so I get to go to "school" for a whole extra month. :) Fun, right? With that being said, I figured I should update some time soon, and here it is.

5 new layouts: There's a rather extensive amount of series. Do enjoy.
2 new collaborations: These were with Harper and Linksai.
19 new icons: -failure- They're basically only colored with a small amount of textures, and they're terrible. :)
2 icon PSDs: More coloring fun for your icons. :D
14 new textures: They're just the Lion's Mane set, but in 800x600 size. They're quite useful.

I'm getting further and further into this new style I somehow came out with. Some of the new layouts are quite nice in my opinion. Although some of the coloring and style sheets may be similar, I think they all have their own look to them. I'd have to say my favorites would have to be Moon Scar and Nindo. The colors are fantastic to me. Moon Scar has a nice contrast of purples and reds while Nindo has a lovely orange shade. You can just go see for yourself. :) The collaboration with Harper is absolutely lovely. :) She's really great and adding some very beautiful touch ups and tips. Thanks to her, it has such lovely navigation!

Two more collaborations are in the makings. These two are with Yu-Chi from E-Deluxe. She's very talented and makes such wonderful textures when she starts out a design. Not to mention her gorgeous CSS skills. I think you'll be excited to see these. :) Are you bored? Then join The Blue Party©. It's fun and you can win prizes! After much working, reading and wasting time, I've finally managed to sum up enough content to make an update. I know, right: shocker. Good (and bad) for me though, I've finished 3¾ of my summer reading already. Sadly, summer break has still a month to go. I'm going to forget what happens... I'm sure you just want the content, right?

First of all, if you haven't noticed, become more observant or get glasses because Station has a new site layout! I bring to you version 7: Collide. The title was inspired by the song "Collide" by Howie Day. The new design is in a new style I've been tinkering with lately. Some of the new premade designs I've added are also in the same style. I absolutely love it. It's a great way to incorperate a lot of detail and patterns without being overwhelming.

2 new layouts: Series include Bleach & Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I used a whole new style.
1 new collaboration: Series is Mushihimesama and I worked with Shini.
23 new icons: Series are Bleach and Stock. I actually did stock! Featured at Iconatarded.
8 icon PSDs: These are my favorites so far. 18, 19 & 20 were donated by Shini.
6 new icon textures: They are all light textures. All of them. One set is an 800x600 texture pack.

Recently I've been out with my camera. That's why most of the new textures are light play. :) The 4th of July was a few days ago so I was able to take some pictures of fireworks and sparklers to make textures with. Some of the other ones were from a random light I saw and from a lightning storm. I think the new light textures are actually good quality this time. Some of my previous ones were a little lacking. I'm happy with these though. As for the new PSDs, I'm loving the colors. They may have a similar blue shade in them, but they are all different. One focuses on reds more than others, another focuses on magentas, etc. I think I came out with a really good batch. Three we donated by Shini, which are also awesome. If you didn't see, Shini pwned me. :P

Expect to see a few more collaborations being added soon. I'v been working with Harper and Linksai (by the way, I stole your PNG ;P). So far they're looking great. :D I can't wait to see the finished product. Until then, enjoy the new version and download some resources! :P

"Back already?!" Why, yes, indeed I am. Buwahaha! I've actually been doing a significant amount of work with Photoshop lately, you'd be surprised. You should also be proud I've gotten my lazy self to do something besides blow a ton of money on iTunes, ha. :) Anyway, I think you'll enjoy these new additions if I say so myself. I actually made more resources!

3 new layouts: Series include Loveless, Unknown & One Piece.
29 new icons: I actually broke a total amount of 100 now. This is substantial.
2 icon PSDs: These sort of just happened. I was fooling around with colors.
2 new icon textures: The textures are frames and road signs. The frames are quite useful.
Infomational Icons: I put in little .gif's around to give little pieces of information. I thought they were cool. :D

Well what do you know, 99 Mocking Birds gets yet another plug. I asked Tuly and Kat if they wanted to do a collaboration so be looking forward to those two hopefully soon. They'll probably school me in design and laugh at my ways. :D

So summer is actually here now, or has been for a while I suppose. I hope you guys start coming out with more designs and work because I know I will be. I have a lot of free time now so I should be able to update a lot. I think that's pretty much when most designers blossom is in the summer when they have time to work. I'm excited to see if anybody comes out with a huge bang. Tyler! He hates me. D: I'm excited to see him come back though in the future. I wish you luck, friend! -high five-

Expect more, and soon too. I really have nothing to do but read and work so hopefully I'll stay motivated to work. If you're bored, then motivate yourself to make icon bases! Yes, because those will motivate me to make icons, which I really need to do. Shini has a great load of superior bases that I used for this update. Go use her's now or make some of your own and let me know! ;D

Summer Reading List Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, The Red Badge of Courage, The

Thought I died? Well, I didn't. :) After taking that long break it got my creatice juices flowing. I've been feeling very inspired lately and also the relaxing feeling of knowing school is out helped me design some things. I actually accomplished a lot really. If you care enough to continue reading then it goes into detail. "When you come around I'll be waiting." I enjoy quoting songs.

If you haven't noticed already, Station now has verions 6! The layout is entitled Supermassive Black Hole and features Devil May Cry. The title was inspired by the song from the band Muse that you may have heard on the Twilight Soundtrack. (Yes, Twilight.) I don't even remember where I found the manga scan of Dante, but I was browsing through my images and I decided to use it. You may notice I'm inching back to manga coloring again. I colored it in with the basic colors and then I used an Icon PSD that's available here if you're interested. Other than that I just did what I usually do and the layout came out. I'm really happy with the end result. It may look a little bland, but I love it. You might experience slow load times because the vertical background is so large. Plus I made a lot of slices. Besides the desciprtions, let's find out what's new.

3 new layout: Series include AIR, Kingdom Hearts, & The Soul Taker.
20 new icons: I tried some new colorings and techniques with these. I'm pretty happy with the turn out.
4 icon PSDs: I love the colors in these. Six and seven are my favorites.
1 new icon textures: The textures are phrases. They're random song quotes or just words.

Please welcome 99 Mocking Birds as a new affiliate. I think I'll be looking for 1 more. I also have another premade design started with one of Shini's amazing renders, but I just couldn't get that final touch on it to make me happy with it. I'll probably take a stab at it later. I hope you can find the textures and PSDs useful and actually use them. :D

Hopefully I get that one layout finished and put up. While waiting on it, I think you should listen to Teen Hearts because they're great. Go now, but comment and make me feel special first!

April 20, 2009: Edit layout ID 18 & version 5

Well hey, I'm actually making a second update with a site version! I know I usually update like onces every 1½ months with a whole new version a some content, but this time, I have no new version. :P I do have a lot of things for you this time, including a whole new content section. Excited?

I've been working pretty hard lately trying to create some great new additions for the site. For this update, I actually have a plethora of content. By the way, can you really say plethora in a sentence and really be taken seriously? Haha no. This word is an inside joke among my friends and I. :P But plethora means an extensive variety so I guess that's good news in the terms of a content addition. I've been preparing this update for about 3 weeks now along with reading The Bell Jar for AP. It's a great book. Anyway, on to the variety of additions. I've really been abusing Photoshop lately.

1 new layout: The series is Bleach and it was inspired by the song "99 Luftballons."
10 new icons: A variety of series are included in this, even stock. Some were from that icon battle* with Harper I mentioned.
5 icon PSDs: I attempted some coloring for your icons. I hope you can actually use them.
3 new icon textures: I've added sparks, city lights, and I also recreated the text.

I told you it was a lot of content. I hope you can find of the resources useful, espacially the new colorings. They're not as good as the outstanding ones you may find at Anxiety, but I hope you can put them to use -as well as the textures- in your work. I had made a second layout, but I failed at the coding. I really need to learn how to code tables. I guess I could just download the free trial of Macromedia Dreamweaver. We use it in the web design class at school so I'm pretty much pro at it. Haha. Also, I'm debating on wether or not to scrap the wallpapers section. I doubt people even have those resolutions anymore, and if they do, I doubt anyone uses my wallpapers.

Expect to see more in the future. I'm working hard to keep up with everyone else. Look forward for a new site design some time soon. Auf Wiedersehen!

RECENT ADDITIONS
April 15, 2009: Icon Battle with Harper! :)

Well I know I said I would be gone for a week and I would update then, but guess what? I lied. I decided to update before I left. I'm still going to Florida with the marching band, but I just decided to make an update before I left. ^^;

As you might have noticed, I bring to you Station's newest version:Thanks for the Venom. The gold and blue combination really works well here with the gray, and the brown really adds a nice darker color to the mix. I know I switch throught my layouts quickly, but I like to make large updates with a new layout most of the time. Plus I was feeling very inspired when I threw this piece together. I realized version 4 was getting on my nerves and also that pretty much all of my content needed removed and re-designed. I really need to improve... So with that in mind, I started up Photoshop and set to work.

4 NEW LAYOUTS: Series include Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Trigun, DOGS, and stock photography. Some older layouts were removed.
34 NEW ICONS I tried using new styles and textures this time. Older icons were removed.
1 NEW ICON TEXTURE The new set is a light-play set. I really need to make some more.

It may not seem like much, but it does to me, in the sense I feel that I'm trying to improve and bring back my older style again. It has yet to completely emerge. I'll be working very hard once I return in a week. Maybe I'll whip up something fantastic. :P Anyway, I'm also going to try to work on a new content section for the site. The wallpapers section is a failure, so I might replace it with something. Would anyone find pre-colored stock photography useful? If not, I need suggestions.

RECENT ADDITIONS
Mar. 3, 2009 - 1 Premade layout
Mar. 20, 2009 - INFORMATION: I'll be leaving with the marching band on March 30th to Disney in Florida. I'll be gone for a week until the 4th, so don't get sad! ^^; When I come back, I have a large update and revamp planned. I already have many things created for it. Stick around for it! ♥

So it seems that I have updated, eh? Why yes, yes I did. Oh look, and what do you know: there's a new site design! Version 4 of Station is titled Hypothetical --don't ask because I don't even know-- featuring Kingdom Hearts. I found the image randomly and decided I wanted to make a layout with it. I never thought I'd like what I made well enough to make it version four! I had the image for about a month before I actually succeeded in making anything. I had tried an failed (story of my life) many times. :P Anyway, I think it turned out great. I used many text brushes created by the amazing Shini and also a mixture of other shapes and such. I used a few icon textures and patterns in the back that really added a nice retro dot effect. At first there was a huge blank at the right meant for the navigation, but then I decided to repeat the image and it became fantastic.

Aside from a description of the layout, I might as well share what else I bring right?
2/3 Premade layouts. I say 2/3 because the Naruto design has two styles to it. I felt the colored version and black & white version both looked great. The other series is Bleach.
17 Icons. I tried a few new effects. I think I'm close to emerging with a new style. (Most likely not T_T;)
1 Texture set. It's pretty much lame, but I needed to update the section. You won't use them, I'm sure.

That's pretty much all I have for you right now. I really should be working on the icon textures page, but I'm running out of ideas/skill. I'll try my best to bring you more, I promise. :P But for now, I hope you enjoy the new design for Station. Also, I may be opening affiliation again. I feel I might as well add at least one more since there are a lot of amazing sites out there. Feel free to apply!

Haha, wow. I acutally updated. You're surprised aren't you? You bever saw this coming. You know you didn't. :P I actually made it, though, before one whole month. In a week, if I didn't update now, it'd have been a month since I made an update. That's awful for me. Not really: I'm so lazy, yeah? Haha, well anyway, you probably want to read about what's new.

If you haven't noticed yet, Station has a new site layout! YEAH! I hope you enjoy the new look. I don't really care if it has pink, again. It's TEEN HEARTS so don't be suprised. I'm pretty much obssessed with this band right now, so here's my little "Hells Yeah" moment. I think it turned out pretty great if you ask me (otherwise it wouldn't be the site's layout T_T;). I like the colors especially. I think they wok really well together and they're also blended in with the cream color. I think they pop out but are still pleasing to look at.

Besides the new look, I actually don't bring with me that much to tell the truth. I have however made many pre-made designs. Two of them were collaboration layouts with the amazing Harper. It was really fun working with her. She really is great at design and coding. I learned a lot actually. :P I also bring a few icons. They are pretty much plain. I really need to improve...

Good job, Justin. You finally updated. Yeah I know. I'm going to update more often, believe me (I'm lying). Yeah, I know that is another song from Forever the Sickest Kids. Hey, at least I bring you content, right? Yes, I do, so be happy about that instead of worrying about my addictions. :)

First, I'd like to say I have a new affiliate! Welcome Doremi from Last Chance. Her site is great! Also, from a while back, please welcome Yu-Chi from E-Deluxe. Her style is so unique. I have also dropped two affiliates due to inactivity and/or gap in skill levels. I'm so sorry. Hopefully you understand. Anyway, I'm sure you want to get onto the new things.

You know you're deserving of it:

Hopefully you enjoy what's new. The icon texutres page was pretty much failing so I felt the need to improve it. As for the icons, I was trying new styles and coloring. Edit: Yes, yes, I'm already making an edit. Well this is worth it because Station finally has a new site layout! You can all thank Teen Hearts' music for inspiring me. I know it's Loveless again, but I just really like this image. I hope you all enjoy. Feel free to comment below! I also added another collaboration with Shini. Enjoy the new look! Also, I'll probably be having one more affiliate to make it ten. It'll probably be an invite only, unless you really amaze me. :O

Yeah, I'm currently obssessed with Forever the Sickest Kids, Teen Hearts, and We the Kings. Luckily, their music inspired me to make graphics. But, all of them have lyrics from their songs. It's horrible I know. T_T I haven't been updating frequently. I pretty much update once and leave everything to rot. However, lately I felt the urge to work and so I did.

I really, really need to make a new layout for the site. Everything I try pretty much fails. You probably won't see one for a good month or two so don't get your hopes up. Anyway, here's all I did.

You'll notice that in the wallpapers and layouts the same paint drip brush. I'm obssessed with it. It works very amazingly with stamps (notice Skyway Avenue wallpaper). The layout Streetlights is a collaboration I did with Shini. Harper invited me to do one with her and I figured it would be fun, so I asked Shini if she wanted to make one with me. Thanks Harper :P Anyway, with the icons, I really feel I'm improving. Finally. My favorite is the Loveless one.

Well, indeed it is three days until Christmas! I'm out of school for two weeks so I will be able to update if I'm not too lazy. I will be working on a lot of things, however, so I may update or just add to the recent additions box. As mentioned in the title, I want to wish you all happy holidays!

I haven't really done much for this update, but it was a while since the last time I made an update. I do however bring with me some content. I have planned to make some new icons since the ones right now aren't that great. I also need to make a new site layout.

In all my lazyness:

Info. As you can see, it's not that big of a content addition. I am quite lazy at the moment. Be glad I even coded the new layout. Haha. Well I haven't updated in a while, but I am still alive. I bring with me a lot of content. First of all let's get some information and news out. I joined a new contest, Kuusou wallpaper contest. And also more people need to join the contest at Koko ni! No one else has joined but me.

I've been browsing around and has found a lot of inspiration. Hence, the large amount of content in this update. I really think everyone should take time to browse DeviantArt because members have a lot of great resources and a lot of inspiring designs.

THE UPDATES:
3 new layouts.
8 new icons.

It may not sound like a lot, but it is for me being that I am quite lazy. I also want to say that the way I organized my layouts... 100% props to Tyler & Harper. I couldn't think of any other way to organize them, so I used a table. If it bothers you guys let me know I can think of something new. :)

School is still busy, but we should get a break sometime soon. I have been reading so much lately. Probably on a count that I have to finished 300 pages by this Friday. I'm sure I'll get it done! T_T Not to mention, Christmas is closing in! I'll get a good break then for sure. I love Christmas time!

Not bad: only nine days until I updated again. I've really been working hard lately, trying to improve, etc. I hope you all noticed the new icons I had been working on. If you missed the edits then you can check out the archive for the details. So, anyway, let's move on.

You may notice the title of the post. That is because about two days ago it snowed for the first time for the winter seasons. Also, I've joined the "Winter's First Snowfall" contest at Koko-ni. Very convenient timing, right? If you check the layouts section you can see my entry. I'm actually really proud of this one.

All that's new is 1 new pre-made layout. I've been dedicating my time lately to making pre-made designs since the ones I started the site with are horrible. Expect to see new designs and the old ones gone. Also, Thanksgiving break is coming up so I'll be working and updating a lot more. That's all I've got for you now.

Oh, and hey. A little advertising never hurt any one right?

Welcome all to the opening of Station! Indeed. I have closed my other site and have opened this one. I felt I needed a fresh start. So after the week or so wait, it is finally here. I want to thank Chanlu.org for hosting this site. I'm very happy that they accepted me and I'll do my best not to let them down. Again, a big thanks!

Regarding the affiliate situation, I just want to say that I have closed my other site and therefore the affiliates would be gone. I have re-applied at some of them that I though we're great in talent. I want to thank them keeping with me. I'll try to keep up with you guys!

The layout. This layout features the anime Loveless by Yun Kouga. The colors came out to be a sort of bold, yet subtle lime/aqua palette. The image I extracted from an amazing image I found on a gallery. I think the use of brushes and text really pulled this layout together. The title of the layout is Control. Heavily inspired by the title of the song Control, by Metro Station. I love them! ♥ Overall, I think the layout turned out to be a great 1st version of the site.
